The Friendship Project

Have you been feeling lonely? Anxious? Too nervous to attend a Pepper's session? Or maybe overwhelmed and in need of a listening ear?

To have a friendly chat, please ring our reception on 07714 503 556 and we’ll get you set up with a volunteer who will call you at an agreed time for a chat.

Our Volunteers can check-in, you could arrange to meet up for a coffee at our premises in Oakham or maybe even go for a walk, the choice is yours.

It is so important to look after your Mental Health and practice self-care, if you feel that a volunteer could help you, get in touch!

N.B You must be over 18. Please note phone lines are not manned 24/7, we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible. We are not trained counsellors and should not be used as such, for urgent help please follow this link. The aim of the Friednship Project is to get people to a point where they feel comfortable and confident enough to attend one of our drop-in sessions.
